Tap TENS is a small, wearable TENS device designed to support comfort and movement in labour and assist with recovery postpartum and from a c-section.
TENS sends gentle electrical pulses through the skin to the underlying nerves, which may help reduce the intensity of pain signals and support your body’s natural endorphin production (Tap Health).
Your hire includes the Tap 2.0 device, fresh single-use pads, charging cable, simple instructions and local pickup details.
Your hire is confirmed once payment is complete. Collection details, lockbox code and return instructions will be emailed after checkout.

How Hiring Works
Choose your hire length, enter your preferred pickup date, complete payment online, then receive your collection details by email.
Your hire is confirmed once payment is complete. Collection details, including lockbox code and return instructions, will be emailed after checkout.
Important: Always discuss your birth preferences and comfort tools with your midwife or care provider. You can trial pad placement before birth, but do not switch on the TENS treatment until you are in labour unless advised by your care provider. Do not use TENS in or near water.
By hiring a TENS machine from Nest to Nurture, you agree to the following conditions:
Hire Period
The hire period begins on the agreed pickup date and continues for the selected hire length (4, 6, or 8 weeks).
Returns
The TENS machine must be returned within 7 days of the hire period ending so it can be prepared for the next family.
Loss or Damage
If the machine is lost, not returned within 7 days, or returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear (damage to machine making it non-functional, loss of charging or electrode cables, or backing clip), a replacement fee of $120 will be charged.
Use of Device
The TENS machine is intended for labour comfort and general TENS therapy use only. Instructions will be provided at pickup.
Pickup/Drop Off Location
All TENS hires are local pickup from Gowrie, ACT. Your rental machine will be in a secure location for you to access anytime that suits you. The machine is also to be returned to the same location.
Hygiene
Fresh electrode pads are provided with each hire. Pads are single-use and are yours to keep. Please do not return these.
