Our most popular option. This allows plenty of time to have your TENS machine ready before labour begins and also allows you to keep it available after birth to help with recovery.
• Fully Nested Hire: 8 Weeks
Ideal if you’d like to be organised early so you can approach the final weeks of pregnancy feeling calm and prepared. This option also gives you plenty of time to make use of the TENS machine for after birth pains, and c-section recovery postpartum.
About the Tap 2.0 TENS Machine
The Tap 2.0 TENS machine is a modern, wearable device designed to provide gentle, drug-free pain relief using Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). This technology works by sending small electrical pulses through the skin to the nerves, helping to reduce the intensity of pain signals reaching the brain and encouraging the release of the body’s natural pain-relieving endorphins.
The Tap device is lightweight, discreet and easy to use, allowing you to stay mobile during labour. It features five evidence-based preset modes and adjustable intensity levels so you can tailor the sensation to your comfort as labour progresses. Each hire includes the complete Tap TENS kit, including:

Many women find TENS particularly helpful in early and active labour, allowing them to remain upright, mobile and comfortable as contractions build.
Pickup & Return Information
All TENS hires are local pickup at a time that suits you from Gowrie, ACT.
After your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with all of the necessary info for pick up and return. TENS machines are typically collected around 36–37 weeks of pregnancy so they are ready whenever labour begins.
No bond is required. However, we ask that machines are returned within 7 days of the hire period ending so they can be prepared for the next family.
By hiring a TENS machine from Nest to Nurture, you agree to the following conditions:
Hire Period
The hire period begins on the agreed pickup date and continues for the selected hire length (4, 6, or 8 weeks).
Returns
The TENS machine must be returned within 7 days of the hire period ending so it can be prepared for the next family.
Loss or Damage
If the machine is lost, not returned within 7 days, or returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear (damage to machine making it non-functional, loss of charging or electrode cables, or backing clip), a replacement fee of $120 will be charged.
Use of Device
The TENS machine is intended for labour comfort and general TENS therapy use only. Instructions will be provided at pickup.
Pickup/Drop Off Location
All TENS hires are local pickup from Gowrie, ACT. Your rental machine will be in a secure location for you to access anytime that suits you. The machine is also to be returned to the same location.
Hygiene
Fresh electrode pads are provided with each hire. Pads are single-use and are yours to keep. Please do not return these.
